Seeing as that you were voted player of the season, I thought it best to start the new interviews page with your good self!

First Off, How do you feel about being voted player of the season??

Richie - Shocked and honoured. I never thought a player like me would win player of the season.

You Obviously couldnt vote for yourself as player of the season...Who did you vote for and why?

Richie - I voted for Carl Nelson.Simply because i believe he has been the most consistant and outstanding player on the team for the last four seasons.

How do you feel the season went as a whole for the team?

Richie - If you look at our final position in the table it pretty much sums itself up. Very disapointing after the success we enjoyed the season before hand, However that season is gone and forgotten and this season is all that matters.

Ok, What are your personal targets for this season?

Richie - I dont set myself personal targets, I just try to play to the best of my ability every game.

Fair Enough, What do you think the teams targets should be this season?

Richie - Top four, But if push comes to shove beating last seasons points tally would be a good improvement.

This Season The Team Is under New Management, What Are Your Thoughts On This?

Richie - I had no problems with Ashley managing the team, however i'll except Andrew Nelsons decisions with the same respect that I excepted Ashleys

Do You Think It Will Effect The Way Either Of Them Play?

Richie - I dont think it will have any effect on Andrews game what so ever. I feel Ashley's game will open up more without the added pressure of being manager.

Last Season Saw The End Of Jamie Sale And Jamie Green. What Are Your Thoughts On Thier Departures...How Will They Effect The Team??

Richie - Anyone who saw those two playing with us would agree that to loose not just one but both of them is a big blow. Jamie Sales is the most outstanding Keeper in the league & Jamie Green was an outstanding goal scorer. They are both big losses and I hope that The opertunity will arise for either one to become availble again...but i also feel the squad we have is good enough for the job.

This Season Sees Gareth Thomas As Gangies Number One Keeper. Is He As Good As The Previous Gangies Keepers?

Richie - Gareth has played only a handful of games for us and whist he would be the first to admit he hasnt played exceptionally so far, we did kee a clean sheet in our first game this season and after playing with Gaz in previous teams im very confident hr will do the business. Otherwise he wouldnt be here.

This Season Sees The Return Of Gangies 694 Vs The White Doves. How Do You Feel About This?

Richie - Im a massive fan of the white dove games. Not least because they play a simular game to us, which is quite physical. Its a fixture that in the past both sides have shown, to try and predict a winner is impossible untill the final wisstle is blown.

At One Point Last Season Team Moral Seemed To Be At An All Time Low.Did It Just Appear Worse Than What It Was And How Are Things Now?

Richie - The dip in moral coincided with the dismal run of form dueing the second half of the season, which is a natural reaction. I Think the whole team is just glad to get last season over with and now we can start with a clean slate for the new season.

For the Up And Coming Season, What Are You Looking Forward To?

Richie - A new season under new leadership, and hopefully being far more competitve and consistant.

Champions - Trap 3

Ashley, You were last seasons Player of the season, So you are going to be the second person on the interviews page!

First Off, How do you feel about being voted player of the season??

Ashley - Fantastic, Ireally thought It was going to be Griff Or Richie, But Honnord that the player voted for me!

You Obviously couldnt vote for yourself as player of the season...Who did you vote for and why?

Ashley - I voted for Griff, I think with the amount of goals he scored last season, he kept us up. We had a dreadful time of it and I thought he along with Richie were the difference

So do you feel Richie could have been the First player two have won the award more than once?

Ashley - Yes, he played really well, Me and him have a great understanding in defence and without that we would have been relegated for sure!

How do you feel the season went as a whole for the team?

Ashley - I think its a season we were all looking forward to ending. It was good in one way that we had something to fight for, and we always play our best when something is there to fight for....but we all would have been rather fighting for promotion!

Ok, What are your personal targets for this season?

Ashley - Well last season I was beaten to the golden boot award in the final match....but I dont think that will bother me to be honnest. I want Myself, Richie and Phill to keep the defence tight. I want to be back in the top half of the table for sure....top four I think would be fantastic

Fair Enough, What do you think the teams targets should be this season?

Richie - As I said, Top half and up

You came back as manager towards the end of last season, Do you think that helped the team stay up?

Ashley - I came back as manager because Andrew had problems away from football and didnt need the stress of trying to lead the team out of a relagation fight.

But do you think the change helped the team?

Ashley - Well......we survived didnt we

Do You Think It Will Effect The Way Either Of Them Play?

Last Season Saw The End Of Carl Nelson, Andrew Nelson, Jonathan Porters and Gareth Thomas. What Are Your Thoughts On Thier Departures...How Will They Effect The Team??

Ashley - All Of them were BIG missis last season. Andrew is moving to Hartlepool so sadley it is the end of his Gangies 694 playing days. Gareth Thomas is a loss but I feel we have replaced him with a quality Keeper in Phill Pengelly who used to play for the White Doves. Carl and Porters will both be back this season! Its only a temporary break for the both of them.

As you mentioned. Phill Pengelly is the new Gangies 694 keeper. How does he stand against previous keepers?

Ashley - Phill is fantastic....I would love to compare them but I dont think I could do it fairly unless I kept us here for ours, they all have different strenghs and weaknesses!

So Sitting Squarely on the fence If I ask you whos the best Keeper You've played with?

Ashley - Pretty much yes!

Is there any games you are looking forward to the most this season?

Ashley - I think the teams in the league this season are quite simular. Brunswick Boys. 10 Bellies, DS MIlan, Diamond Geezas and Unreal Madrid are all physical teams....and I love to play against them. But I did not play against Team Wanted last season and they did the double over us scoring 30 goals against us to our 10....so Im gonna Stamp my Authority on those to games!

Ashley - Team moral was bound to dip when we lost so many players for whatever reasons, But as soon as we realised what trouble we were in the core players, Myself, Richie, Griff and Phill all got our acts together and really played our hearts out!

Richie - A chance to put the records straight and once again show what we can do
